Project: Pallet Deck

August 6, 2013 by Andrea 5 Comments

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth or locked away in my pallet shed.  I’ve been very busy bobbing back and forth between both projects for the last few weeks.

Instead of a traditional deck layout I’ve applied the boards in a herringbone pattern.  I love the pattern and it’s easier than I anticipated.  Each board has to be cut to 15 inches long after removing them from the pallet and hammered into place.  It’s a lot of extra work but well worth it in the end.
More photos to come! Thanks for stopping by.
