Your next decorating element might be hiding just below your nose. A few weeks ago, I shared the hutch makeover and a new wall color. I’m super happy with the new color even though it wasn’t the color I meant to purchase. That’s a whole story in it’s self. Maybe I’ll share that another day. Anyways, the grey gives the room a cozier feeling then the bright white/blue paint I previously

What a week! I started back to work after being on the downlow all summer. It was crazy busy. Nothing like going from 4-5 hours to 10 hours a day. I’m exhausted and so ready for the weekend off. How did I spend my last day off before heading back to work? I spent it painting the kitchen and dining room. Yeah, I know that sounds like fun and

Hey, welcome back! A few months ago, I was shopping at Walmart with my girls and I stumbled upon chalk paint. Did you know Walmart sells chalk paint? It’s nice only working a few hours then home to work on a few projects and lounge in the pool. If only summer lasted a few months longer. But, that also means it’s time for cooler nights, smores with the family, and lots

Intex recommends changing to a new filter ever two weeks. That’s fine if you can make them last two weeks. Up until recently, I was cleaning the filters every day. I would place a newly
This week on Scrapality: A new place to store cookbooks! Easy storage solution made from three pallet crates. I’m spending the day resting up after spending the day shopping with my girls. Each year we try to take advantage of the awesome deals while traveling the old Main Street. We always have a great time and we find a lot of great stuff. We started
I finally did it! I finally, created a solution to the over crowded bookshelf. You know that shelf that seems to be the “catch all” spot. One of my summer goals was to fix that problem, clean up that mess and find a more practical solution. I’m a huge fan of cookbooks. I’ve collected a few oldies but goodies along the way. It’s a shame to hide them, right?
This week on Scrapality: Want to build your own free-standing stairs? I show you how I created the above stairs. Pin them for later. On Wednesday, I shared a few past Scraptastic Saturday linked up projects. I’m gearing up for a small vacation before the school year starts. I have a few small outdoor projects to finish up, a backyard that needs my attention and a
