  • The Clog: Clearing the clog on a regular basis is one of the important steps as far as keeping toilets free from blockages is concerned. To clear the normal clogs, all that you need will be a pair of gloves and a rod. If you are not comfortable doing it, which most of us are not; it is best to take help from experts who has the required tools and expertise to get things sorted out in the toilet.
  • Use a Plunger:  Plunger is a very useful tool for clearing the pipes of a blocked toilet. With the help of a plunger, you will be able to pull the blockage out. Rubber plungers are a perfect option as these are light weighted, flexible and are easy to use as well. While using the plunger, you need to make sure that it is under the water and the entire hole is being covered. Once it covers the entire hole, you can pump the plunger with force. This action might have to be repeated for the blockage to be cleaned.
  • Plumbing Snake: Using the plumbing snake is another option for cleaning the toilet. When a plunger proves to be ineffective, then a plumbing snake could prove to be the right choice. However, you might find it a bit difficult to use the plumbing snake at it requires some amount of skills
