Have you finished your Christmas shopping? I’m basically finished, besides baking madness and a few craft projects. One of the craft projects this year is the Infinity Scarf. I’ve wanted to learn how to knit or crochet, but up until now I haven’t really tried to learn. I stumbled upon a tutorial on Pinterest and that video tutorial changed everything. It looked super easy and only required yarn purchase.
I’m super excited to wrap up Christmas shopping for my family. I’m usually one of those crazy people shopping for presents the last minute. Talk about stressful. One year I actually spent the evening doing ALL of my Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. After spending hours shopping, I rushed home and spent the next few hours wrapping everything I just bought. That was the craziest shopping trip I’ve ever
December is here! You know what that means, right? Lots of Christmas and holiday creations. How about a Christmas creations in pallet style? I grabbed a pallet board and lightly sanded the wood to remove all hairy like wood fibers. I have pallet boards with more hairy fibers then my husband has on his head. Shh, don’t tell him that. But, it’s true! Some of the boards need a
Wow, I think I’ve had my fill of turkey. How about you? We enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast with everyone at our house. We had a ton of great food and enjoyed visiting with each other. I’m thankful for all of my readers and everyone that linked up their projects last week. Just remember, if you linked up for last weeks party your projects were shared via the Scrapality Facebook
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here in the US. I started cooking not long after 9AM. I know that’s not super early for most, but it is when you just went to bed at 4AM. What was I doing up so late? I baked off two cakes and some donuts. Plus, I made another trip to Walmart. It never fails, I always forget something on Thanksgiving and end up running
Thanksgiving is almost here. I’m so ready for all of the Thanksgiving dishes, time with family and friends. Oh, and lets not forget the time off from work. I’ve compiled a mile-long list of things I want to achieve while on break. My fingers are crossed hoping I can achieve a few of those items this year. I’m not a Black Friday shopper. I’ve really only participated in the mad dash
What do you get when you combine old wooden clamps and pallet wood? That’s simple, a new shelf. A friend of mine won a few old wooden clamps for me at an auction. He figured, I could use them somewhere in my home. I was thrilled to death. At first, I used one of the clamps as a book holder on the mantel. I was dying to use the clamps
Boy it sure seems like winter this week. Here in Ohio the temperatures dropped and the ground was covered in snow. My town only was ended up with a dusting unlike other places in Ohio. I’m not sure I’m ready for this winter. I’m not a fan of the fluffy white stuff and cold temperatures. I was totally fine with the 70’s or maybe even the 60’s. Thank you to
I’ve been crushing on the farmhouse style decor, especially in the kitchen, for a while now. I love the look of the white planked wall in the kitchen and I knew I wanted that achieve the look. How do I get the look without the price? Use pallets! I dismantled a bunch of pallets. I then removed nails. The pallet nails are little stinkers. They don’t just come out easily.
Hey, it’s Saturday. I’m hoping to finish up a project or two this weekend, how about you? I can’t wait to see what everyone has been up to lately. If I haven’t stopped by to leave a comment, I will sometime today. Thank you to all of those that linked up last week and to those that visited the amazing projects. If you linked up for last weeks party your
