My family loves pancakes and sausage. So why not eat them together! I thought about sprinkling cooked sausage on top of the pancakes like I would chocolate chip pancakes. However, it was my husbands thought to just add it to the mix. So that is what I did.
Sausage Filled Pancakes are yummy! It is a huge hit in my household. Just remember to use the pancake mix up immediately if your sausage is hot when you add it to the mix.
Sausage Stuffed Pancakes
8 servings of pancake mix
1 pound of bulk sausage
Brown sausage in a skillet, drain and set aside. Mix pancake mix according to directions. Fold sausage into the pancake mix. Immediately scoop pancake mix onto a well-greased griddle or skillet. Cook pancakes till fully cooked.
