It’s Fab Friday! I was so excited for this weeks challenge over at Frosted Designs.
This weeks challenge is to use stamps, envelopes, and tickets. But to top that off this weeks sponsor is Graphic 45. Does it get any better then that? Graphic 45 has the most coolest papers around. They bring their “A” game when it comes to their products. Do I need to say more!
I picked up this old Kodak film canister at a flea market a few weeks ago for only 50 cents. First I distressed the canister with Alcohol inks by Ranger. I added a little gold glitter embossing powder to outline the sections of the canister. I then used Graphic 45 Curtain Call papers to embellish.
On the right hand you will see Graphic 45 door plate and knob which was also distressed with Alcohol inks to match the tin. The faux black film canister is actually a prescription pill bottle cut in half and painted black with acrylic paints. I then stuffed it with film strip cut from the cardstock and added the film ribbon by Tim Holtz. You know I had to squeeze a little Tim in there! 🙂
The picture frame on the left side I created using the faux metal technique and distressed with Alcohol inks and Tim Holtz corners.
Stop by tomorrow to see the mini album. Thanks for stopping by!
