This past spring my husband and I bought a fixer upper repossessed house in our town. I’ve wanted to redo an entire house to make it my own and this is my chance. My hubby and I have been hard at work redoing the house since then and I am really excited to finally have the chance to start giving the house the character I so wanted to create. Little by little I will share with you the projects we have completed so far.
I am a huge fan of Junk Art and can’t wait to start creating the junk pieces for my home. I already posted a few of my junk creations that you can find the posts by following the junk art tab above.
For the last couple weekends we have worked on the wall behind the fireplace in the living room covering it with pallet wood. I love the look of old barn wood and couldn’t wait to finish the wall. We then finished the room by adding pallet trim above the living room and connected dining room. We also added wood to the kick boards of the steps leading to the staircase. I have plans for those stairs and the only hint I will give you is Funky Junk Interiors. Love her! So stay tuned for upcoming home projects. Thanks for stopping by!
