Dollar store alterations are the best. You can’t beat their prices and sometimes they’re a great place to start. I purchased this star for the top of my tree this past Christmas. The star was orginally metalic red and not the greatest fit for the tree. I spray painted the star with black flat paint to match the other furnishing in my home.
After Christmas was long gone, I didn’t want to pack away the black star. The star first started out on the mantle but quickly found a new home on the door. It’s fits perfectly with the vinyl Welcome sign. What do you think?
