In a previous post I shared an altered archway using an old latter and turning it into a decorate shelf. Well today I am sharing with you how I turned the other half of the latter into a rustic photo display.
First, I trimmed each rung to the same length and hung the latter on the wall using screws. I then added old licence plates, a grapevine star. I then grabbed some favorite family photos and applied a simple photo transfer to wood technique (tutorial coming soon). To finish the display, I hung a photo block on each rung with jute in various levels.
Next week I will share with you the photo transfer to wood technique for your favorite family photos. It’s a wonderful way to add photos but still keeping it rustic. Thanks for stopping by and see you next week.
