In a recent post I created a wall cabinet in my dining room to store items that I don’t use everyday. The added storage space helps cut down on the clutter in my kitchen but still keeping everything close by. You can visit the post here.
After building the cabinet I felt the window needed a rustic country feel and I wanted it to match the cabinet and trim. I decided faux shutters would make a perfect addition to the windows by adding a rustic country look.
I created the shutters using the same pallet wood I used to create the cabinet and the trim.
I added a couple small black 3D stars to the center of the shutters. You know how I love those stars. I simply attached the stars using my hot glue gun.
A rustic and country vibe!
A quick and easy way to incorporate those rustic elements in the room and for no cost at all. What do you think?

Great stuff! This is just everything what I was expecting to hear and honestly I don’t have much to say on this since shutters lend themselves too many architectural designs and decors, from traditional to modern contemporary. Great job! Two thumbs up!

Great articles !!! The wood blinds with conductor controls sound nice, as a result of safety.Generally speaking i’d like Wooden shutters they create the house portray a nature theme.Even the pretend ones can do this farewell as they seem natural.
