Our home town raises money for the Relay for Life each year. This year my daughter joined the middle school team to help raise money to give cancer patients another birthday.
Home Depot supplied work stations made of wood and buckets and donated craft supplies for the event. Children were able to build tool boxes or heart baskets on site using hammers and nails. Home Depot regularly provides craft time for the small DIYers. Check with your local Home Depot for craft time events.
My daughter, Mariah, has two brain tumors called Bilateral Optic Glioma due to Neurofibromatosis. She started her fight to save her vision this past February. Our family designed tshirts and sold them to raise money for both the Relay for Life and The Children’s Tumor Foundation. Every little bit helps!
Please support your local Relay for Life and give cancer patients of all ages another birthday.
