This past week I rearranged my junk mantle and added a new piece of junk to the mix. A friend of mine, the Auction King, scored four vintage wooden clamps for me. I was over joyed, to say the least, when I received them and couldn’t wait to add them to my junk mix.
With so many projects on the burner it’s tough to pin point their permanent location, but for now they rest on the mantle and floor.
I thought about using a pair as bookends but settled for a single book holder. I dug out a few old books out of my studio and simply inserted them in place. The books fit perfectly inside of the clamp and make a wonderful addition to the junk mantle.
I’ve been slaving away on Project Pallet Shed this past weekend now that the rain has finally stopped. The ground is fairly moist surrounding the shed and I have created a few muddy areas, but I feel I’ve accomplished quite a bit this weekend. Don’t worry an update is coming soon.
