My favorite Christmas decoration is the Christmas Tree, but after looking at the trees for a month I’m ready to store them away for another year. As much as I love to decorate for Christmas, I think I love to take everything down just as much. Cleaning and storing away Christmas decorations leaves me feeling refreshed and ready for the new year. It’s funny how it works out that way.
The Pine Cone Wreath on the front door has bit the dust more then a once and has started to fall apart pine cone by pine cone. I’ve had to grab the glue and reattach a few pine cones each time it has fallen. Plus the screen door doesn’t shut all the way because the wreath is wider then the space between the exterior door and the screen door. My poor wreath has endured a lot of abuse over the last few weeks and is in need of a new home.
I decided to use the other half of the latter left from the Ladder Archway. If you missed that post check it out. My hubby came up with an amazing archway piece you don’t want to miss. Anyways, the ladder has spent the last year on the porch collecting dust while I figure out what to do with it.I removed about two feet of the ladder so it would fit nicely in the bottom landing of the staircase. Then I carefully hung the wreath using a piece of ribbon and tied a bow. Yes, my bows need a lot of work, but it will do until a friend of mine stops to visit. She’s so much better at bows then I am. Mine always seem to end up flat or droopy. I then attached the Kiss Me sign to the ladder.

I’m loving the new staircase landing decor and a clean living room. Are you one to leave your Christmas decorations up till January 1st or do you pack everything away the day after Christmas? Drop me a comment bellow. Thanks for stopping by!Sharing this post with some amazing parties.
