Kitchen Planning: Appliances and Extra Features -

Another trip to the hardware store to pick out appliances. Well, maybe not pick them out but grab ideas and prices. I’m going to build my kitchen a little backward. I’m going to design my kitchen and then in a year, I’m going to purchase a new refrigerator and stove. Why? One because I can’t make up my mind and two because of finances. I have a few other obligations to deal with this year leaving me short on a full kitchen remodeling. So floor and cabinets first and then next year the plan is to buy new appliances to replace the old. The old still works and why replace them right now if I could wait another year. That’s the plan anyway.

I really love the stainless or stainless and black options for appliances, but I can’t decide on a complete side by side or the freezer on the bottom style. It’s tough. I go back and forth.

I love gas ranges, but not sure if I want a slide in or a drop in. I do love the look of the drop in. Hmm, so many decisions.

I found a great website where you can read reviews on the latest appliances, which takes a lot of research out of the buying process for you. They test most types of an appliance from a new range cookers to the latest fridge-freezers. If you’re due to buy or replace some of your kitchen appliances then their site is worth a visit.

I love the look of the apron sink and by the looks of it, I will have to order one. I’m loving the look of copper. This hardware store carries a non-apron copper sink and it’s nice too.

Hmm, loving the new faucets too. If I buy a copper sink I will definitely have to purchase a new faucet.

I found the kitchen gadgets. Woohoo! Love the slide in draws. So cool and not too expensive.

Slide in a trash can, yep I can feel it!

There’s so many things to think about and choices to make. It’s going to be a build in progress that’s for sure. Building time is coming closer and closer. Only a few more weeks away!
