When we purchased the house I wanted to paint the trim but my dear hubby was against it. The trim needed serious help and it’s a lot of work to sand it down, stain and poly everything in the house. So I gave him the choice of either I paint it or he fixes all of the trim. Guess who won? Yep, it’s white.
Over the last few weekends I’ve been busy painting the living room and dining room spaces. I chose Dove White for the trim work and Blue Cloud for the walls. I’m in love with the white or almost white walls these days. In the past I’ve stuck to lots of color so this is a huge change for me.

The Blue Cloud walls looks the same as the Dove White in the sunlight, but during the afternoon you can see the difference. I was a little concerned you wouldn’t see the difference, but after the paint dried, it worked out.
It’s tough working during the week and working on home improvement projects on the weekends. It sure doesn’t seem like I get a day off to do nothing, but does nothing really exist?
