The must read book of the year! I was totally hooked and mesmerized by the horrible events Michelle Knight experienced over the 11 years she was held captive on Seymour Ave. by Ariel Castro. I read the entire book over a 24 hour period. Yes, I was that hooked.
I had followed her story on the news and on the Internet articles. I seen the horrible pictures from inside that house. I seen the video of the house coming down. I watched the moment she addressed him in court. I was overwhelmed with her bravery that day in court and I knew I wanted to read her story as soon as I heard she was writing a book. I felt bad for Michelle, Amanda and Gina the day he took his life. I felt he took the cowardly way out. He wasn’t punished enough, if there is such a thing.
I was blown away by her will to survive and to stand up to the very man that took so much from her. Michelle is someone with great strength, courage and hope.
