Hey, welcome back!
I had one major goal to achieve before my hubby came home a little over a week ago and that was to complete the bedroom makeover.
The only thing my hubby knew about the makeover was the quilt and the color of the walls.
It was supposed to be a complete surprise, but I couldn’t keep it to myself. It was totally driving me insane.
Oh, and his wolf collection too.
The biggest change was the distressed vertical pallet wall. The other two pallet walls in our house were hung horizontal.
If you want to check them out, visit the Farmhouse Wall and the Pallet Wall and Trim posts.
To add color to the boards, I applied the various paint colors using a dry brush paint method. I also left the edges and various areas untouched to give a distressed look.

I’m not a huge fan of the Indian motif but my hubby is. When we moved into our house I gave him the bedroom to house his wolf and Indian collections. I just had to give it a little bit of help.
Did you notice the TV on the wall with a floating shelf and the not so hidden wires? That’s a tutorial to come, stay tuned.
