I’ve looked everywhere for the perfect wall sconces to accent my family photo display.
I wanted something rustic and red.
While working on last weeks post, Electric Insulators, I came up with a solution.
I love the old door panels that a naturally rustic and distressed.
All that was missing was the red.
I grabbed the last two panels, (sigh) two red painted mason jars from last year’s Thanksgiving Display and some jute.
I started by tying and wrapping jute around the tops of both mason jars.
Next, I slipped both ends of the jute through two holes drilled into the board and tied them tight.
After hanging them on the wall, I added a few twigs.
The twigs make a perfect addition to the family tree picture. They add a little decorative flair.
The red mason jars really pop against the rustic chippy-paint door panels.
Don’t forget to pin the picture below to share this rustic creation.
