New tools, who doesn’t love them?
When working with pallets or reclaimed wood, you need something durable. Something that will go the extra mile. Reclaimed wood can be very tough and not the easiest thing to work with.
I’ve personally used a few different brands over the last few years and I, myself, prefer DeWALT over other brands.
Sanders are very important when working with pallet wood. They help remove the splinters and hairy fibers.

The Kreg Jig…my new love. It’s the best tool to own for furniture building. It attaches boards together like no other. It’s amazing how it turns two pieces into one.
I was a little intimidated at first. But, after I watched videos and created my first project using the jig, I was in love.

The miter saw. It’s a must have. I use my miter saw in every project I work on.
If anything happened to this tool, I would be lost.
The reciprocating saw. If you’re into pallet project this is huge.
It cuts out the back breaking work by cutting the nails.
Then we have the drill. This is another must have. I love my DeWALT drill. It’s the most reliable drill.
I have more than one brand and it’s my go-to every time.
Tools are so important to me these days. If you told me a few years ago I would be using all of these tools and loving it, I would’ve laughed.
It’s crazy how things change.
A few years ago I was scrapbooking and playing with glitter. Now, I’m working with all types of tools.
You just never know where life will head next.
Do you have a favorite tool?
