Hey, guys!
How about one last pallet project using only one pallet to end the year?
Today’s project is a cute window table I built for my Mom for Christmas.
My Mom has dropped hints over the last few months hoping I would build her a little table for her window in her living room. Well, she was happy to see this little table next to the tree.
For the little table, I sanded and cleaned up 8 thin boards and 4 wide boards.
If you don’t have enough thin boards you can rip a wide board in half to get two boards.
All of the boards were screwed in place using the Kreg Jig system.
The Kreg Jig makes furniture building super easy! It’s a must have if you want to build your own furniture.
The table is ready to be stained or painted.
Guess what table walked out of the house without a final shot? Yep, this cute little table all stained with dark walnut stain.
It turned out really cute! Mom really loved the little table and I can’t wait to see it in their home when I go visit.
I’m sure her kitties are loving the new table. Our kitties were fighting over whose turn it was to lounge on the new table. It was a constant battle. I’m not sure I want a little window table for my home. I’ll have to think about that one.
It’s been an amazing year. I’ve learned a lot about myself, blogging and what it takes to be strong. Stay tuned over the next few days for a recap of 2015.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing the journey!

This is so adorable and looks pretty simple! We have a small house so things like this that have a small footprint are essential!
It is simple to make and the size is idea for small places. Thanks for stopping by.
When you said you made window table had idea what it was for. We have kitty also that loves to lie in window to watch goings on. He won’t go outside so has bad case of cabin fever, it’s hilarious to watch him, he also gets our dog in on his crazy cavorting.
Great job on table, If we didn’t have deep enuf windows for our kitty to get into I’d be asking hubs to make one. Would be nice for plants to sit on also. Will use imagination to think how your Mom’ s little table looked all snazzied up for her window and kitty.
There are never too many pallet projects. Will have to look into that jig you mentioned.
Happy weekend
Thank you! Kitties sure love to look outside. Thanks for stopping by!
