We’re back in the kitchen this week with a new cabinet and countertop made from reclaimed wood.
A couple weeks ago, I built a kitchen cabinet made from reclaimed wood. If you missed the posts you can view them at DIY Cabinet Doors and Reclaimed Wood Kitchen Cabinets.
To build the cabinet on the left side of the stove, I shorten the width of the right side cabinet by a few inches.
Then, I built the cabinet just like the right side cabinet, but smaller.
I framed the entire cabinet using pallet wood. Then, I used leftover beadboard for the side panels.
I originally planned to turn this cabinet into a storage cabinet for my trash can. But, I’m not sure if I want to downsize to a smaller trash can.
It seems like we have so much trash. It’s always full. I can’t imagine using a small trash can.
Do you have a small trash can in your kitchen?
Does it fill up quickly?
We change our trash every day to every other day. So I was thinking a smaller trash can would be emptied twice a day in our household.
Do you have a small trash can in your kitchen?
Do you wish you had a larger trash can?
Leave me your opinion in the comments section. I would love to hear your thoughts on kitchen trash can storage too.
Thanks for stopping by!
