Making your home your own little retreat, your little place of comfort will be sure to keep stress low and flood all who enter with peace of mind. Keeping decor simple and clean is the way to go. Reclaimed wood benches and tables, your favourite tapestries or artwork on the walls, or driftwood furniture will keep your home reminiscent of the ocean and are easy to clean and care for.
Bring the Outside In
There is something impossibly charming about seashells, oddly shaped bit of driftwood, and rocks smoothed by the tides. They also happen to make great decor in any home and, if you are living on the beach, they are right there for the gathering. Shells, stones, and driftwood come in so many different shades that there is no doubt that a half hour’s shoreline excursion will result in finding numerous bits and bobs that will accent your home’s interior colours and current decor.
