Junk foods are easy to get but are very harmful to human health when taken in excess. In our day to day busy work life, we tend to consume more junk foods as we have less time to cook healthy foods at home. Consuming junk foods increases the calorie intake excessively and thus burning them become even tougher as we are busy at our office desks for most of our time.
How to reduce your urge for junk food and burn calories at work?

- Stand-up while working
There is a kind of connect between wanting to eat junk foods and sitting down to work. When you sit down to perform a task, the brain is not as engaged as when you stand-up to do it. So, to give your brain a break and let your body to stretch and do some physical activities, stand-up after every 15-20 minutes.

- Follow balanced meal and diet habits
Nothing compares to eating good food. There are a whole lot of benefits some of which include avoidance of certain type of diseases and maintaining a good fitness level. To stay healthy, you have to carefully plan your diet and have a list of food that you should and shouldn’t eat. An easier way of doing this is to have a nutritionist or dietician who would guide you and give you proper advise when you are going astray.
- Try balance training while standing in a queue
Some people just can’t stand for long. This could probably be because they are too used sitting. To solve this problem, you should try to do more of the exercises that directly affects your balance and stamina.
- Plan cheat meals
This simply means doing something out of the ordinary or eating something that isn’t part of your routine. Once in a while, you can attempt to eat something that you do not normally eat.
- Train with your partner
This is fun. You tend to train harder when you have someone to train with. You learn from each other’s mistakes and improve yourselves. When you spend the most of your time with your colleague, there is a definite bond between you two and that bond can be used to train and workout together to help and motivate each other to burn some calories and get fit.
