Create Your Free Online Catalog
You’re on your way to building your own online catalog with a complete reference library of informative do-it-yourself tutorials. To get started creating your personalized DIY channel, login in or create a new YouTube account. Signing up for YouTube requires that you have a connected Google account as Google is the parent company of YouTube.
Once you’ve set up your account and selected your preferences, you’re ready to begin creating your own customized DIY channel. Use the search bar to search for keyword topics and subject related to DIY activities.
You’ll be surprised at the variety of popular networks and everyday people that have amazing YouTube channels with realistic explanations and instructions for completing your DIY projects.
Once you’ve found videos that relate to the projects that you’re planning, the next step is to create your customized reference library in the form of a playlist.
How to Create A YouTube Account
- Go to: youtube.com
- Sign In on the Top Right of The Screen
- Click More Options then Create Account
- Follow the Instructions to Customize Your Account
How to Create A YouTube Playlist:
- Select the video that you want to add to your new playlist.
- Scroll under the video and click “add to.”
- Select the option that you want from Watch Later, Faves, An Existing Playlist, or Create a New Playlist.
- Name and Save Your Playlist
- Repeat this process to add videos to your playlist until your satisfied with the content of your new online library. (You can skip the last step after naming your playlist the first time.)
Now that you’ve created your personal DIY playlist online, you’re ready to get started trying some of the new skills and techniques that you’ve learned and to create your own projects.
