We all experience various aches and pains as we go through life. When you get older, these pains increase. If you have kids, then you’ll always be running around doing one hundred different things at once, so constant back or neck ache will likely follow you everywhere!
No matter the cause of your pain, there’s usually only one way to deal with it. You go to your doctor, and they prescribe some type of medication. While this may ease the pain, it rarely helps the overall issues. Instead, I want to introduce you to a few ideas that will help you cure your aches and pains without resorting to prescription drugs!
Try Topical Ointments/Balms
Most of the things I’ll talk about relating to solving the actual cause of your pain. However, you still need to get rid of the painful sensation as you work on fixing things. For this, you should try topical ointments or balms. There are so many options to choose from, and they work as an alternative to pain medication. You can even take a natural approach as well, with something like CBD balm. It’s suggested that there are lots of CBD balm uses, and one of the main ones is to relieve pain. As with all of these ointments/balms, you apply it to the area of pain. From here, they work quickly by going deep into your skin and muscles, easing the pain and tension.
Stretch Everyday
Stretching is so good for your body. Most of your aches and pains are the result of tight muscles. Your muscles have become bunched up and tense, so they need to be released. Stretching lets you do this, and it can slowly ease your pain forever. All you need is a quick stretching routine in the morning and night, and this will help you out. My advice is to go on YouTube and search for stretching routines relating to your specific pain. For example, if you have back pain, then look for a back pain stretching routine. Follow the video, and you’ll soon see the results.
Give Your Body A Rest
No matter how often you stretch – or how many ointments you apply to your sore body – you won’t get rid of your issues if you don’t give your body a rest. You need to take it easy if you’re in pain. Stop lifting heavy things, stop running around like crazy after the kids; lighten your workload! If you have to take a day or two off work, then do it. Give your body time to mend itself. This lets your muscles recover and get into a position where the other two tips work even better. Think of it like driving a car with a loose wheel. If you don’t stop and fix the wheel, it will eventually come off and lead to more damage.
Take my advice on-board if you want to free yourself from niggling aches and pains. There’s no need to fill your body with medication when there are other options out there. Follow these three steps for a pain-free life.
