It’s unfortunate that so many people have to go through tough times with little to no warning allowing them to prepare. Now, that’s hardly a comforting thought to introduce an article with, but it is truth, and the sooner we can contend with it, the sooner we can curate the strength to meet it.

Frankl, a Jewish psychologist, invented his own extremely well-researched and most redemptive form of psychological analysis named logotherapy despite spending time in the camps of WW2’s Germany. This led to his most redemptive work, Man’s Search For Meaning, a book that has been a bestseller all across the world for its vastly grounded yet optimistic theories.
In it, he explained how to find peace in the hardest times. You may find that some of this advice can help you go through the tough times and see better days, all the stronger for the experience:
Speak Up
Don’t be afraid to speak up, to the degree that you’re able. If you find that you’re struggling to cope with a new health condition – mention it. Sometimes just being a little more open to a new treatment, or in getting out there, or in learning more about your current situation can help you feel an extra allowance of utility. It’s this that can make all the difference.
