Vaping has become incredibly popular in recent years, with more and more people taking up the activity.
Some people try vaping as a means of giving up smoking altogether, whilst others prefer vaping to traditional cigarettes.
Cigarette smoke is particularly unsavory, there are not many people who can say they like the smell of cigarette smoke, especially old, stale smoke smell.
Cigarette smoking has become more and more unfashionable, especially following the indoor smoking bans that have come into force all around the world, and vaping has taken its place instead.

What Are The Different Types Of Vapes?
Since being introduced in the early 2000s, vapes have continued to evolve, with each new generation being superior to the last.
All vaping devices have three main components. The battery is rechargeable, and powers the vape itself. The atomizer heats up and converts the e-liquid into vapor, and the e-liquid itself which you can refill when it runs out, but purchasing e-liquid refills.
There have so far been four different types of vaping devices, each with different selling points.
The first generation vapes are called ‘Cig-A-Like’ vaping devices. These look just like a cigarette, often with a tip that glows a dull red just like a real cigarette.
The second generation is dab pen, which is still quite basic, but moves away from looking like a cigarette, and are available in different colors, and produce the vast amounts of vapor that are often associated with vaping.
The third generation is called vaping mods and is a modification of the vape pens. It was found that many users wanted a more powerful, impactful vaping experience, and were modifying vape pens themselves. So manufacturers started to produce the vaping mods, which are much safer than the homemade devices.
The fourth-generation is called pod mods. These remain as powerful as the third generation, but the size has slimmed down, making them less bulky, and more user friendly.
Pod mods are available either closed or open. Closed means they cannot be refilled, and have to be disposed of once they are empty, and open means you can refill them many times. The closed pod mods create a lot of non-recyclable waste, so the environmental conscious chose the open, refillable version.
Vape Refills
Vape refills are available in various sizes, and many, many different flavors.
One of the most popular at the 10ml vape refills. Their popularity stems from the fact that they are very portable, so you can take them with you easily when you are out and about. If you can’t decide which flavor to take with you for a weekend away, the 10ml size allows you to take several, which is very useful for the indecisive.
Nearly all your favorite flavors and strengths of nicotine are available as a 10ml refill, meaning you’ll never be stuck for choice.
10ml refills also tend to be the most cost-effective type of refills, meaning you can save some money, which we all want to do these days.
Refilling a vape tank is a bit fiddly at first, but once you have got the hang of it, it becomes quite simple, and easily done on the go.
Tanks come in both bottom fill and top-fill, and filling up these will differ very slightly.
Refilling A Vape Tank
Regardless of where the tank is on your vape, refilling it is essentially the same, although it is vital you check the instructions, or ask the seller in the vape shop to show you. This is important as vapes are changing all the time, and the new one you have just bought is not necessarily the same as the last one you had.
When refilling your vape, you will need to start by removing the tank, and unscrewing the coil, and removing it from the tank itself.
The coil has holes in it, and you will need to put a drop or two of the e-liquid into each hole, and this will fully saturate the coil, meaning the burning of the coil is less likely. Once you have done this, replace the coil back into the tank.
Unscrew either the top or bottom of the tank, depending on which model you have, and use the dropper that comes with your e-liquid to fill the tank to the fill line.
Once you have filled the tank, put the top or bottom back on, and make sure it is tightly attached, and be sure to clear up any e-liquid spills that may have happened during refilling.
Then, leave the vape alone for five to ten minutes, to ensure the coil has become fully soaked in the e-liquid before you continue to vape.
Vape Upkeep
As well as replacing the e-liquid as it runs low, there are other forms of upkeep you will need to do to keep your vape sanitary, and in full working order.
The coil needs changing fairly regularly, as it burns out whilst you use it. The regularity of which you need to change it depends on how often you vape.
Someone who only vapes occasionally will be able to change the coil every two weeks, or even monthly if they really don’t vape that much, but someone who vapes much more regularly will need to change it weekly.
You will know you need to change your coil when your vaping starts to taste slightly burnt, or charcoal-like, and you may notice that the flavors from the liquid are not as strong as they once were.
The e-liquid tank will also need cleaning regularly, and it should be done each time you change the e-liquid.
Cleaning the tank will keep it hygienic, and it will stop different e-liquid flavors from combining to give you an unsatisfying, even distasteful vaping experience.
In Summary
Vape refills come in many different flavors, from those who taste just like cigars, to the more popular sweet flavors like strawberry yogurt, or cinnamon buns.
Refills also have varying amounts of nicotine depending on your preference.
