Finding mental health care is a non-easy task. Especially in these hard times of lockdown and Covid-19. Although there is plenty of information on the internet about all different types of mental health care. It is not easy to seek the right kind of help.
Mental health care is such a broad subject. There are so many different types of mental health issues, whether it be for an elderly family member with dementia. Or maybe someone who suffers from anxiety, depression, or some form of addiction. These are all forms of mental health, and for many go unnoticed or not recognized.

Bi-polar, paranoid schizophrenia, depression and anxiety, self-confidence, the use of cosmetics and plastic surgery in order to make you feel more confident, is becoming more and more popular. It all comes down to your own individual needs and possibly many professionals of how best to treat and medicate. With certain medications and counseling mental health can be controlled.
Everyone reacts differently to how a situation is handled and it depends on if you are in danger to yourself or to others. If this is the case then professional psychologists and doctors will have to intervene. Although pharmaceuticals are not designed to solve mental health issues and taking prescription drugs can lead to drug dependency.
They do however help with some short-term illnesses. If something unexpected happens such as the loss of a loved one, being made unemployed. Then in antidepressants and other forms of pharmostocial medicine would help you cope with your illness. As it will only be for a short period of time.
The more serious mental health conditions, need to be handled by professional and trained doctors which could lead to you being instertulaised or sectioned.
Why Mental Health is so important
To many Mental wellbeings is more important than physical health. Your brain is so powerful and is capable of overpowering all fear. The only thing that stops physical strength is the mentality of fear.
Every individual is afraid of something within their personal life. It could be something as small as climbing a ladder to fix a roof. Even though there are professionals that provide these services for a fee, we all have the capabilities to do this. The actual thought process changes from person to person.
Overcoming your own fears makes you stronger mentally, although this is never an easy task. It ultimately gives a sense of power, wellbeing, and ultimately a stronger mentality.
Protecting yourself and loved ones
Life throws us many problems at any time. It could be from a physical health issue, mental health condition, or losing a loved one. There are many different struggles that we all face. One in four people will suffer from some kind of mental health condition at some point in their lifetime.
Understanding that mental health does exist in all areas of society and being able to recognize and understand symptoms is the first step towards treatment. Being able to admit there is an issue is one of the hardest things to do. A lot of the time pride and the mentality of weakness could cloud judgment.

Both physical and mental health care is so important to us all. Physical health care is generally a lot easier to diagnose as a patient can tell a doctor or GP what kind of pain they are suffering from.
Mental health care on the other hand is a lot harder to detect and can take years of psychological treatment.
Dealing with a mental illness is more of an ongoing battle within one’s own mind. Although there is medication to help with mental illness, a lot of the time there is no cure, and it is for life.
Mental health issues can lead to serious physical issues. It could be self-harm or just an illusion that has been created by the individual. Eating disorder for example although is a mental condition can also complicate the body physically.
One of the symptoms of depression is sleeping a lot which minimizes exercise which can lead to serious physical issues. On the other hand, exercise is also a cure for depression and anxiety, but there needs to be a balance. Exercising can be a form of addiction, which is also a form of mental illness.
