Getting Around the App Stores
In a world that is linked into a giant web through the internet, having an app in Google Play or iOS platforms is a great deal. You will find multiple companies that do not have a website but do have an app. Most businesses are crippled without an app in today’s world. However, if you have a business that caters to your customer’s demands through online mode, then you most likely have a website and are thinking of getting an app. The app will cost you similar to the price of the website – that is if you are going for a native app. However, tricky times call for tricky solutions and using another simpler, easier method, you can easily go around the high price of building an app.
Native Apps can cost a fortune
These apps are the more expensive choice of the two but you get the advantage of tailor-made apps suited to your liking. Each of the platforms runs on different source codes. When you are developing an app, the code you write has to be compatible with this source code. This is what makes designing an app such a tricky affair. This means that the app you write to be run on a Google device will not work on an iOS device. Talking about iOS, Apple is especially stringent about their source code and it is not publicly accessible making the app development process even more expensive.

WebView Apps are a cheaper way to go
Designing apps is expensive but here’s the easier, cheaper method that we were talking about. WebView apps are a great way to ensure that you give your customers an app to hail your services without having to design one. It uses Iframe – it is a window, much like a television, that allows users to see what you want them to see. In essence, while you design a WebView app, you do not have to write the entire code for the services, you just have to write the code to generate a portal to your webpage. Yes, WebView apps are a portal to your website. This also ensures that none of the functionality of your website gets downgraded which often happens while designing an app.
Sometimes you will not get accepted
Big businesses that deal in billions but work on the theory of probability such as gambling, investment, and insurance are considered to be shady by app stores. Even for other businesses, if you are new, you are not dependable yet. The way to become a trusted website is to direct users to your website in some way or the other. However, only the top 3 links in a Google search are going to get the most hits and the remaining links get peanuts. So, you not only have to direct the audience towards you, but to do so, you have to rank well in a google search. The only ways that you could adopt to rank higher in Google are advertisements, promotions, excellent content, and link building.
All of this is linked together in a complicated manner. It is difficult to build links since no one will be interested in investing in new businesses. You could buy links at big sites but that will cost you a lot. When you share any kind of an app in different app stores you are likely to gain awesome links. Once you gain awesome links, the traffic will be diverted to your website and there lies your best advantage.
What should you do?
If you are investing a fortune into link building but still do not have an app, STOP! Besides the obvious 90+ domain authority links from Microsoft store, iOS or Google Play, you can also get something extra. Catapult gives you another link from a DA 80+, but there are the guys from Amazon and there is a tricky part for boosting the link profile like crazy. If you submit an app to an Amazon app store, you will get your links from amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca, amazon.br, and other amazon domains for free. This is a must for every webmaster taking his business seriously. Feel free to ask if you need to know more about this topic.
