I must say I’ve really enjoyed this past summer. The weather has been warm enough to go swimming, but not to the point of heat exhaustion, which is a good thing.
I finished the deck finally and our yard actually looks like a yard and not a shipping yard. That’s another plus.
Plus, our family has had numerous family cookouts. No need of a holiday, just a get together with family.
We’ve put that new deck, counter and bar to good use. It sure has come in handy.
Over all this summer has been the best summer.
Oh, and let’s not forget the wonderful dishes worthy for a holiday.
Corn on the cob over an open fire.
Parmesan Garlic Butter for the Corn.
Marinated vegetables and Cucumber Tomato and Onion Salad.
Mmmm, my favorite!
These recipes are so simple and they taste fabulous.
